Facebook Home was announced a few days ago and as expected by most people, including yours truly, it has been leaked before official launch. The Facebook Home APK has been leaked by MoDaCo, a popular figure in the Android community.

Download and Install Facebook Home on any Android Phone

The leaked build seems to be working fine on Nexus 4 as tested by The Verge and it also works great on the Galaxy Nexus with rooted Android 4.2.2, as per our testing. The release comprises of three apk (installable files), namely:

a) The main Facebook app. It is different than the version currently available in the Play Store

b) Messenger app. Just like the Facebook app, it is also a different version than the officially available on

c) Facebook Home, the launcher.

If you want to give it a try, make sure that you are on an Android phone with 1024×768 (or 720p) display resolution. It seems to have issues on higher resolutions at the moment. If you already have the Facebook and Messenger apps installed from Play Store, you would need to uninstall them both, else installation would not work. Lastly, make sure that you have allowed installation form unknown sources in Android’s security settings.

Just install all the three apps (download links available above) and you would be ready to use Facebook Home on your Android phone. Be warned that since it is a leaked build, there might be some bugs and unstability issues with it. If you run into any issues, let us know in the comments section and we would love to help you out. Enjoy!
